Day Day 1 : Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Meet your guide at Julius Nyerere International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Dar. Safari briefing and overnight stay.
Day Day 2 : Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Drive to Mikumi through the scenic Uluguru Mountains. Afternoon game drive with chances to see elands, lions, buffaloes, and herds of zebra. Overnight at a lodge inside or near the park.
Day Day 3 : Full Day in Mikumi
Spend the day on game drives exploring Mikumi’s rich floodplains and miombo woodlands. Search for elephants, giraffes, and a variety of birdlife. Overnight at the same lodge.
Day Day 4 : Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
Depart early and head to Ruaha, passing small villages and changing landscapes. Arrive in time for a sunset game drive. Overnight at a tented camp or lodge near the Great Ruaha River.
Day Day 5 : Full Day in Ruaha
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in one of Tanzania’s most rugged and wildlife-intense parks. Look out for lions, kudu, wild dogs, elephants, and over 500 bird species. Overnight at the same camp.
Day Day 6 : Ruaha to Udzungwa Mountains
Drive from Ruaha to Udzungwa. Arrive and relax at your lodge nestled at the foot of the mountains. Optional walk in the nearby local village. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day Day 7 : Udzungwa Rainforest Hike
Morning hike to the famous Sanje Waterfalls. Trek through lush rainforest inhabited by endemic monkeys and rare birds. Swim at the waterfall base and enjoy panoramic views. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight again in Udzungwa
Day Day 8 : Return to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam for departure or optional overnight. End of tour.
