Day Day 1 : Arusha to Momella Gate → Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)
Pick-up from Arusha and drive to Momella Gate. Begin your trek through open plains and rainforest, escorted by an armed ranger. Spot giraffes, bushbucks, and monkeys. Reach Miriakamba Hut after 4–5 hours. Overnight stay with full board.
Day Day 2 : Miriakamba to Saddle Hut (3,570m)
Hike steep trails through montane forest and giant heathers. Reach Saddle Hut by mid-afternoon. Optional acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820m). Early dinner and overnight in preparation for summit day.
Day Day 3 : Summit Day (4,566m) and Descend to Miriakamba
Begin ascent at 2:00 AM. Trek through alpine desert to reach Socialist Peak by sunrise. Enjoy panoramic views over Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru Crater. Descend to Saddle for breakfast and continue to Miriakamba Hut for final overnight.
Day Day 4: Return to Momella Gate → Arusha
Trek the final descent through forest trails to the park gate. Transfer back to Arusha for drop-off. End of climb.
