Sample Trip Outline

Day Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire for a full-day game drive. Spot elephants, lions, and ancient baobab trees. Overnight near the park.

Day Day 3 : Tarangire to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara. Explore forests, hot springs, and spot flamingos. Overnight at a lodge near the lake.

Day Day 4 : Cultural Visit & Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

Visit a Maasai village en route to the Ngorongoro highlands. Cultural walk and overnight on the crater rim.

Day Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing including rhinos, hippos, and flamingos.

Day Day 6 : Transfer to Ndutu Area

Enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and continue to Ndutu. Afternoon game drive in the calving zone.

Day Day 7 & 8 : Full Days in Ndutu

Explore the Southern Serengeti during peak calving season. Spot big cats, hyenas, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Day Day 9 : Ndutu to Central Serengeti

Game drive through the Serengeti to reach your lodge in Central Serengeti. Spot leopards, elephants, and giraffes en route.

Day Day 10 & 11 : Full Days in Serengeti

Day Day 12 : Optional Balloon Safari & Transfer to Karatu
