Climb Mount Kenya via the scenic and less-crowded Sirimon Route, reaching the third highest peak, Point Lenana (4,985m), in just four days. This trek takes you through lush forests, heather moorlands, and dramatic alpine zones while staying in mountain huts along the way. Sirimon offers a gradual ascent, rich biodiversity, and jaw-dropping summit views — perfect for acclimatization or a compact high-altitude adventure in East Africa’s most stunning mountain range.

Sample Trip Outline

Day Day 1 : Nairobi to Old Moses Camp (3,300m)

Depart Nairobi and drive to Sirimon Gate (2,650m). Register and begin hiking through forest and heather to Old Moses Camp. Trek time: ~3–4 hours. Dinner and overnight.

Day Day 2 : Old Moses to Shipton’s Camp (4,200m)

Ascend through the Mackinder Valley and moorlands to Shipton’s Camp, surrounded by dramatic rock spires. Trek time: ~6–7 hours. Rest, dinner, and overnight.

Day Day 3 : Summit Point Lenana (4,985m) & descend to Old Moses

Pre-dawn summit attempt to reach Point Lenana for sunrise. Enjoy views of Batian, Nelion, and Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Descend via the same route back to Old Moses. Dinner and overnight

Day Day 4 : Return to Sirimon Gate and Transfer to Nairobi

After breakfast, complete the final descent to Sirimon Gate (~2 hours). Transfer back to Nairobi. End of trek.
