Day Day 1 : Arusha to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)
Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Momella Gate. Begin the hike with a park ranger escort through open savannah and forest trails. Spot giraffes, bushbucks, and monkeys as you ascend to Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.
Day Day 2 : Miriakamba to Saddle Hut (3,570m)
After breakfast, continue the climb via steep switchbacks through cloud forest and moorland. Arrive at Saddle Hut by mid-afternoon. Optional hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for acclimatization. Early dinner and rest
Day Day 3 : Summit Socialist Peak (4,566m) and Descend
Start the summit push at 2:00 AM, trekking through rocky alpine terrain to reach Socialist Peak by sunrise. Enjoy sweeping views of Kilimanjaro and surrounding landscapes. Descend to Saddle Hut for breakfast, then continue down to Momella Gate. Transfer back to Arusha.
