11 Days Amboseli, Serengeti Park, Lake Victoria, Maasai Mara Kenya

This day we recommend starting with an early morning game drive around 6:00am in the vast plains of Tsavo West national park. Before your breakfast at 9:00am, you have already encountered herds of elephants and buffaloes, besides other plains game. With some luck you may even see some Predators such as lions and cheetahs. After breakfast you proceed with your game drives and after lunch you will be transferred to Amboseli national park. You will pass by the colorful Maasai herdsmen and admire the volcanic features of area below the towering Mt.Kilimanjaro.Around 17:00hrs you finally reach Amboseli Serena lodge in the centre of Amboseli national park for delicious dinner and overnight

In the morning you will be welcomed by large herds of elephants in the spectacular backdrop of Mt.Kilimanjaro and you may found lions and cheetahs as well. In Amboseli there are large variety of plains game such as giraffes, impalas, gazelles, zebras and wildebeest. In the Swampy areas of the park hippos and lots of water birds can be seen. Before lunch you will climb the observation Hill, the only view point in the park. The views over the plains and towards Mt.Kilimanjaro are startling. After lunch you will also have a chance to visit a Maasai Boma (Campus) for a first hand glimpse at the life of traditional herdsmen in their colorful appearance before a final evening game drives.

In the morning, you will be having game drives enroute for the Kenya/Tanzania border and cross to Tanzania side, the land of Kilimanjaro. You will be driving along the north western slopes of this mountain from where you will see beautifully views of Amboseli plains. The scenery changes from the small scale farm forest land to large wheat and barley farms and stunning views of Mt.Meru.In this evening you will be staying at Arumeru River lodge. Lunch boxes will be taken on the way.Arumeru River lodge is on the forestry slopes of Mt.Meru.Also you will have time to visit Momela area inside Arusha park which set the backdrop of the well known film”Hatari” with Hardy Kreuger in the main role. Then spent your evening at the lodge gardens beside a swimming pool.

Start at 7:30am with your lunch boxes to one of the biggest soda lakes” Lake Manyara”.This is the old Hunters paradise with legendary tree climbing lions.These,however, one is not normally guaranteed to see. On the lake shore are found thousands of flamingoes, pelicans and other water birds busy amongst the hippo herds. After a lunch break at the hot springs that feed the lake, your safari will continue up the Rift valley’s escarpment for dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Farm lodge

Today is a day to see one of the Wonders of the World; the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast (7:00am), you drive up to the crater rim before descending into the crater floor for a game drive you expect to see in East Africa.Ngorongoro is definitely nothing short of one of the natural Wonders of the World. With lunch boxes in a vehicle you will have plenty of time to watch the animals before climbing back up the steep crater walls in 4 x 4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge overlooking one of the largest Calderas in the World”Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will continue with your safari via Olduvai Gorge where some of the oldest human fossils have been found. You will proceed with game drives on the way to the Serengeti Park for a lunch. You will have time for Siesta before starting an evening game drive in the endless plains- the meaning of the Maasai Word Serengeti. Your dreams of lions hunting the numerous wildebeests and zebras may become reality. Overnight will be at the wild Serengeti Kati Tented lodge.

The day starts early in the morning for another game drive in the endless plains before return to the lodge for breakfast. Soon after breakfast you will again take out for game drives up to lunchtime. Thereafter you will have game viewing enroute drive to Speke Bay lodge on the shores of Lake Victoria. The drive will take 4-5hours.The hotel is a simple set-up and serves well as a one-night-stop before going back to Kenya side

After breakfast leave with lunch boxes for Sirare (Tanzania/Kenya border) then crossing to Maasai Mara Serena lodge which takes 3-4hours traversing densely populated hilly areas. The main economic activity here is small-scale intensive agriculture. You than re-enter the extended plains of Serengeti, the Maasai Mara, through Kilgoris or Logorien.The route taken depends on the road and weather conditions. In the late afternoon you will arrive at the Keekorok lodge for your overnight

This day can be spent with full day game drives with lunch boxes or early morning and evening game drives with lunch at the lodges. You may plan the day’s program with your driver Guide in the evening at the lodge. Whatever you plan will be an almost guaranteed likelihood of viewing the big five

After breakfast leave the Maasai Mara game reserve with game viewing enroute heading for Nairobi via Narok or your next destination.
